Nathera Horne Robinson

A graveside service for Vera Nathera Horne Robinson, 84 of Heath Springs, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2016, in Flint Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Robinson, loving wife of the late John Lake Robinson died Saturday, February 6, at her home. Born in Savannah, GA., she was a daughter of the late Wesley C. and Berdie Latzak Horne. She retired from Springs Industries and was a faithful member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church. She also volunteered at Springs Memorial Hospital.

Surviving are her 2 daughters, Myra R. Lewis and her husband, Eddie, Sandy R. Sowell and her husband, Jimmy all of Heath Springs; 3 grandchildren, Chip M. Lewis, Tatum Roof and Lacey M. Sowell; 2 great grandchildren, Gunner Lewis and Peyton Roof; a sister, Gladys H. Armstrong of Laurinburg, NC; 2 brothers, Hoyle Horne and his wife, Shelby and Dale Horne and his wife Ruth all of Heath Springs. She was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Carnes and 3 brothers, Jerome Horne, Lavoyd Horne and Cletus Horne.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the home, 1827 Flint Ridge Road, Heath Springs.
