Funeral services for Naomi Threatt Vincent will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Buffalo Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Paul Stephens and Ray Lowe will officiate.
Mrs. Vincent, widow of David Vincent, died Wednesday, March 23. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Lee Clarence and Eva Elizabeth Gardner Threatt. Mrs. Vincent was the owner of Naomi’s Salon and a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. She enjoyed puzzles, word search, spending time with her grandchildren and listening to gospel music.
Surviving are a daughter Vicky V. Blackmon (Ron) of Westville, and son, Stephen Vincent (Gaudalupe) of Lugoff; grandchildren, Troy David Blackmon of Wilmington, N.C., Kaydee Vincent, Alexandra Vincent, both of Lugoff, and Kim Blackmon of Westville; great granddaughter, Olivia Blackmon; sisters, Edith Vincent of Kershaw, Clara Vincent of Camden, Reba Edwards (Gene) of Heath Springs, Judy Coates (Graham) of Kershaw, and Patsy Stephens (Charlie) of Bethune. She was predeceased by a twin brother and a twin sister.
The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
