Myrtice Faile Hunter

Funeral services for Myrtice Faile Hunter, 90, of Columbia and formerly of Kershaw will be held Friday, January 4, 2013, at Sand Hill Baptist Church, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Chadwick Ivester and Charlie Simmons will officiate. Mrs. Hunter, widow of J. T. Hunter, Jr. died Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Lexington Medical Center, Lexington. Born in the Charlesboro Community of Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late John Manuel and Annie F. Faile. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are 2 daughters; Judith Shealy of Columbia and Elaine Rodgers and her husband Aron of Monroe, NC, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law; Lib Faile of Kershaw. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.
