Morris Neil Plyler, age 67, of Heath Springs, S.C. passed away, Thursday, October 12, 2023, at his home. Born in Camden, S.C., he was a son of the late Eugene Neil “Gene” Plyler and Nettie Grace Outen Plyler. He was a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Plyler loved horses, his dogs, and the outdoors. In his earlier years he enjoyed fishing and camping.
He is survived by 2 sons, Joey Plyler and Eugene (Ashley) Plyler; his granddaughter, Alexus Plyler; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Donald Eugene “Pete” (Vernie) Plyler and Jerry L. (Tammy) Plyler and 2 sisters, Katherine (Jesse Dean) Hunter and Gail Houser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Plyler; his brother, Richard Neil “Rick” Plyler and his sister, Freda Snipes.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2023, in Salem Cemetery, Main Street, Heath Springs, S.C. Mr. Joey Plyler will officiate. Burial will follow in the cemetery.
Memorial remembrances in memory of Mr. Plyler may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
