Milford Wilson Sears, Iii

Milford Wilson “Mick” Sears, III, 69, of Kershaw, formerly of Sumter, SC died Monday, December 24, 2012, at his home. Mr. Sears moved to Kershaw in 2008, born in Centreville, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Milford Wilson, Jr. and Ruth Kathleen Griffin Sears. Mr. Sears was the owner / operator of Mick’s Custom Knives. He was a Civil War History enthusiast and enjoyed reading. He also served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Surviving are 2 sons; Mike Sears and his wife Kammy of Krum, Texas, Chris Sears and his wife Jennifer of Kings Mountain, NC, a daughter; Phyllis Bridges and her fiancé, James Woodward of Monroe, NC, 4 grandchildren; Clay Sears, Caleb Sears, Tommylee Sears and Patrick Sears, a sister; Sandra Sears Coleman of Fort Mill, SC, and a brother; Donald Alexander Sears of Columbia, SC. He was preceded in death by a brother; Robert Leroy Sears. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2013, in Kershaw, S.C.
