Mildred E. Criminger

A funeral service for Mildred Elizabeth Criminger, 87 of Kershaw, SC will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. The Revs. Hugh McKinney and Don Knight will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Miss Criminger died Saturday, November 22, 2014, in KershawHealth, Camden after a lengthy illness. A native of Lancaster County, she was born June 18, 1927, the daughter of the late Lawrence Edward and Lily Jane Farmer Criminger. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, L.E. Criminger, Jr.; his wife, Audrey Williams Criminger and her nephew, Mike Criminger. She was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Her life was dedicated to her church and caring for her parents in their time of need. Mildred was an excellent seamstress and worked from home making and repairing clothing. She also worked for a time at Heath Springs Manufacturing. She loved all her church family, but was especially close to Carolyn Williams and the late David Williams and their daughter Pam Neal. She also was close to Ronnie and Pat Hinson. These individuals saw all to her care in her time of need. She will be missed. Friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, November 24, 2014, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the evening at Baker Funeral Home.
