Michelle "Shelly" Baker

Michelle Lynn “Shelly” Baker, age 52, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away, Thursday, August 24, 2023, in Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, S.C. Born in Troy, PA, she was a daughter of Sharon Greene Harbac and the late Gary Streck. Michelle owned her own cleaning service. She loved the beach, hiking and cleaning. She also enjoyed loving her dogs and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived in addition to her mother by her companion and friend, Philip Edleblute; 2 daughters, Dessiree (Clifton) Melton and Shelby (Katty) Sturdevant; her grandson, Maverick Melton; 2 brothers, Greg Streck and Dale (Linsey) Harbac; 3 nieces, Zamaro, Joslin and Chadecy ; a nephew, William Dale, Jr. and her canine companions, Daisy, Jenna and Jazy. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Baker and her stepfather, Michael Harbac, Jr.

A memorial service to remember her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Baker Conference Center, 105 N. Minor Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067. Pastor Brandon Martin will officiate the service.

Everyone is encouraged to wear bright colors or tie-dyed  colors to the memorial service.

The family will greet friends following the service at the Conference Center.
