Michael Odell Hinson

A graveside service for Michael Odell “Mike” Hinson, 64 of Kershaw, will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, April 17, in Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Larry Reeves will officiate.

Mr. Hinson passed away Saturday, April 14, at his home. Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Ezra Odell and Betty Horton Hinson. He retired from Springs Industries after 33 years of service and was of Baptist faith. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and shooting pool.

Surviving are his loving wife, Ann Vincent Hinson; 2 sons, Michael Shane Hinson and Jamie Lane Hinson, Sr.; a daughter, Megan Courtney Hinson; 2 grandsons, Jamie Lane Hinson, Jr. and Michael Ray Hinson and 2 brothers, Tommy (Sandy) Hinson and Timmy Hinson.

The family will receive friends anytime at the home and following the graveside service at the cemetery.
