Michael G. Faile

Michael G. Faile, age 52 of Kershaw, S.C. died on September 23, 2023, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was the son of Everett Faile and Mildred Railey Stevens of Kershaw, S.C. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Wayne Faile (Ema) of Columbia, S.C. and his sister Tammy Faile of Heath Springs, S.C.

Michael had such a happy spirit and everyone that met him instantly liked him. Micheal loved his radio, and his favorite song was Achy Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus. Michael participated in the Special Olympics and was awarded a gold, silver, and bronze medal for shot put and softball throw.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C.

A graveside will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in Blackmon Cemetery, Kershaw, S.C. Rev. Larry Reeves will officiate.
