Melita Faile Rollings

The family will hold a memorial service for Melita Faile Rollings, 83 of Lancaster, SC at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014, in New Haven Baptist Church, Kershaw, SC. Rev. Ben Metcalf will officiate. Mrs. Rollings, widow of Ansel Mungo and William Rollings died Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at her home. Born in Kershaw, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Henrietta F. Faile. She retired from Caro-Knit and was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. Mrs. Rollings enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandchildren and playing with her dog, Bella. Surviving are two daughters, Linda M. Copeland and her husband Keith of Lancaster, SC, Ginger Duncan and her husband Charlie of Kershaw, SC; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Idolene Taylor of Kershaw, SC and a brother, Luther Faile of Rock Hill, SC. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Ernest, Julius, Boyd, Grady and Jack Faile and a sister, Lena Faulkenberry. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw is assisting the family of Mrs. Rollings.
