Maxine Catoe

Funeral services for Maxine Baker Catoe, 84, of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Jamie Rogers and Hugh McKinney will officiate. Mrs. Catoe, widow of Robert Hoyt Catoe, Sr. died Sunday, November 25, at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Pete and Hennie Louisa Farmer Baker. She was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church, retired from Springs Industries and enjoyed reading. Surviving are a daughter; Ann Baston and her husband Mike of Columbia, 3 sons; Robert “Buddy” Catoe and his wife Sandra of Kershaw, Tim Catoe and his wife Paula of Pendleton and Joel Catoe of Kershaw, 6 grandchildren; Steven Catoe, Sam Catoe, Shawn Catoe, Ali Catoe, Anna Catoe, Kaylea Catoe and a sister; Carrie Hinson of Kershaw. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, November 27, from 5:00 to 700 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
