A funeral service for Mary Twitty Faile, 93, of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December, 21 in First Baptist Church, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Bryant D. Fersner will officiate. Mrs. Faile, widow of Woodrow Jennings “W.J.” Faile died Sunday, December 18, in Springs Memorial Hospital. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late John Croxton and Sarah Elizabeth Faulkenberry Twitty. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Faile was a member of the W.M.U and the T.E. L. Sunday School Class at her church. She also was a member of the Kershaw Senior Citizens Group, Woodmen of the World, Post # 156 and the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are her son; George B. Faile of Fort Mill, S.C., her daughter; Sarah M. Faile of Greenville, S.C. and her sister; Willie T. Payne of Kershaw, S.C. She was preceded in death by 2 sons; Marshall J. Faile and Woodrow T. Faile, her sister; Ruby T. Faile and her brother; James Carl Twitty. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O.
