Funeral services for Mary Sue Cranford Ferguson, 71, of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Baker Funeral Home. The Rev. John Hamilton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Shamrock Baptist Church Cemetery, Bethune. Mrs. Ferguson died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital, Columbia. Born in, Bethune, she was the daughter of the late William Lawson and Annie Lou Anderson Cranford. Mrs. Ferguson enjoyed being a short-order cook for Holley’s Grill and Bo Railey’s Grill and she was of Baptist faith. Surviving are 3 daughters; Margaret Diane F. Price of Lancaster, Pamela F. Sowell of Kershaw, Sonya Marie F. Eubanks and her husband Lance of Lexington, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a brother; Henry L. Cranford of West Columbia, a sister; Juanita Outlaw of Bishopville, a special niece ; June Dako of West Columbia and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Edward Price, a grandson; Randy Knight, 2 sons-in-law; Roy Price and Harold Sowell and 7 brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
