Mary Outlaw Hunter

A funeral service for Mary Outlaw Hunter, 60 of Kershaw, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 5, 2015, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The Revs. Kevin Griffin and Donald Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunter died Thursday, October 1, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Bennettsville, she was a daughter of Lois Hopkins Outlaw and the late Mertis Jordan Outlaw. She was a caregiver and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Camden.

Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Thomas C. Hunter of 19 years; 2 brothers, Mertis Kim Outlaw of Cassatt, Eddie Outlaw and his wife Becky of Cassatt; 2 sisters, Brenda O. Hinson and her husband Robert of Cassatt and Linda O. Twitty and her husband Joey of Cassatt, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shelby Bowen.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday, October 5, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 183 Roy Truesdell Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.
