Mary Nancy Seegars

Mary Nancy Seegars, age 75, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Friday afternoon, December 22, 2023. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Henry Grady Criminger and Eva Louise Robinson Criminger. Mrs. Seegars was a former Licensed Practical Nurse where she helped with special needs children. She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling to the mountains.

She is survived by her husband of the home, Jerry Wade Seegars; her son, Scott Seegars and his wife Mary Ann and their children, Logan, and Samuel; her daughter, Amy Seegars Sherrill and her children, Sydney, Sophie and Liam and her brother, Bobby Joe Criminger and his wife, Jackie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, David Criminger and Clyde Criminger and her sister, Nelly Criminger Cantrell.

The family will hold a memorial service to remember her life, Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2:00 p. m.in the sanctuary of Timrod Baptist Church, Bethune, S.C. Rev. Jeremy Ussery will officiate.

The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service in the church family life center.

Memorial remembrances may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mrs. Seegars.
