Mary Lee "Ottie" Stogner

Mary Lee “Ottie” Humphries Stogner, 89, of Jefferson, passed away, Sunday, August 23, 2020, at her home. Born in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of Dennie Humphries. Mrs. Stogner retired from Springs Industries and was a member of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years. She loved working in her yard and cooking for her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Stogner was married to the late William “Bill” Stogner, who predeceased her in 1993.

Surviving are her 3 children, Jesse Ray (Shelby) Stogner, Barbara (“Kenny”) Wilson and Ken (Dora Price) Stogner all of Kershaw; 3 grandchildren, Tracey (Melissa) Wilson, Teri Jolly and Tony Wilson and 9 great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2020, in the sanctuary of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church, Jefferson. The Rev. James Aldridge and Bobby Cato will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, August 25, 2020, one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 o’clock p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall and other times at Mrs. Stogner’s home.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Stogner may be made to New Testament Missionary Baptist Church, 5359 Eubanks Road, Jefferson, S.C. 29718.

The family would like to thank MSA Hospice for the wonderful love and care shown to Mrs. Stogner.
