Mary Jeanne 'Jeannie' Estridge

Funeral services for Mary Jeanne “Jeannie” Estridge, 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Midway Baptist Church. The Rev. Todd Gandy and the Rev. Larry Plyler will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Baker Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Alexa R. Good ALS Foundation, PO Box 12248, Rock Hill, SC 29731. Mrs. Estridge passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Born in Rock Hill, SC she was a daughter of the late Dwight and Mary Huckabee Blackmon. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, the G.A.’s and was the church secretary for many years. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Robert H. Estridge, Sr. of Kershaw, SC; daughter, Donna (Todd) Howard of Mooresville, NC; son, Robbie (Jennie) Estridge of Kershaw, SC; sisters, Deanna Delia of Irmo, SC, Charla (Mark) Goodman of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Lynn (Don) Hankins of Elgin, SC; brothers, Lewis Edward (Delores) Blackmon of Lugoff, SC, Charles (Sandy) Blackmon of Westville, SC; grandchildren, Cameron Howard, Connor Howard, Emma Grace Estridge; special friend and caregiver, Tammy Robertson Coan of Kershaw, SC.
