Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Gibson Catoe, 93, of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 o’clock, Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Bethany Baptist Church, Westville. Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening at Baker Funeral Home from 6 until 7pm and following the graveside in the church Family Life Center.

Mrs. Catoe passed away, Sunday, June 16th, at her home. Born in Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Hood Gibson and Della Thomas Gibson. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, singing and talking to people. Mrs. Catoe was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Jerry Catoe; daughter, Suzanne Twitty; brother, Robert Gibson; sister, Nancy Presley; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Boykin Catoe, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene C. Keiningham; sons, Allan W. Catoe and John Lee Catoe; 3 infants, as well as several brothers and sisters
