Mary Ellen Daniels

Private memorial services for Mary Ellen Daniels, 83, of Lancaster, will be held at First United Methodist Church, Kershaw. Rev. Dr. Anita Bozardt will officiate.

Ms. Daniels died Sunday, December 26, 2010, in Springdale Healthcare Center, Camden. Born in Sparta, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lachman and Edna Leola Goodenough Dengel. She retired from retail sales and will always be remembered as a smiling face behind the Lunch Buffet at Cromer's Cafeteria in Kershaw for a number of years. She was of Methodist faith.

Surviving are her daughter; Kerry Snipes and her son; Darren Edward Daniels both of Lancaster, 3 grandchildren; Allan Michaelsen, David Tuders, Kevin Snipes, 3 great grandchildren; Tristan McCreadie, Hailey Michaelsen and Hannah Grace Snipes and a sister; Beverly Solbert of Rockland, Wisconsin.
