A graveside service for Mary Beam Hanchey, 77 of Salisbury, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2015, in Kershaw City Cemetery.
Mary died Sunday, August 2, in a Salisbury Hospital. Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Alexander and Wilma Watts Beam and a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family at holidays and going on vacations. Mrs. Hanchey was married to the late Ray Hal Hanchey.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery.
A viewing will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, at the funeral home.
Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Ann H. Faircloth and her husband Donald of Florence, Terry Rae H. Burr and her husband George of Chesterfield; two sons, Ted Ray Hanchey and Todd Barry Hanchey both of Wallace, NC; five grandchildren, Donald Ray “Donnie” Faircloth, Jr. and his wife Amanda, Patricia Ann Faircloth, Angela Hunt and her husband John, Kristie Burr and her companion Dave Shaw, and Christopher Burr and his wife Abby; three great grandchildren, Joanne Hunt, Kady Hunt, and Madison Burr; two sisters, Pat Coughenour and Sandra Hastings both of Salisbury, and two brothers, Johnny Beam of Camden and Charles Beam of Pine Mountain, GA.
