Martha W. Shehane

A memorial service for Martha Workman Shehane, 68 of Heath Springs, will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019, in the sanctuary of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Buddy Thomas will officiate.

Mrs. Shehane, widow of Donald Barber Shehane passed away, Monday, July 15, in White Oak Manor-Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Robert Clarence Workman and Joyce Workman. Mrs. Shehane retired from Duracell and was of Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Shehane also loved NASCAR and playing cards.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Reese and her husband Bryan of Kershaw; 2 sons, Scott Shehane and Jason Shehane both of Heath Springs; 8 grandchildren, Devin, Tyler, Dustin, Abbi, Brandon, Will, Natalee and Lucas; 3 great grandchildren, Brittley, Colton and Reagan and a sister, Sylvia Wright of Texas. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kim Robinson and Wayne Workman.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church sanctuary and other times at the home of her grandson, Tyler, 1238 East Doc Garris Rd., Lancaster.
