Margie Faulkenberry Neal

Funeral services for Margie Faulkenberry Neal, 84, of Heath Springs will be held at 6 o’clock p.m., Sunday, June 9, 2019, in the sanctuary of Oakhurst Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. John Rogers will officiate.

Mrs. Neal, loving wife of John Wilson Neal, passed away Thursday, June 6, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Minor Ruben Faulkenberry and Lena Faile Faulkenberry. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Oakhurst Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter, Sandra Elaine Hughes of Myrtle Beach, three sons, John Douglas Neal and his wife Pam, Roger Gregg Neal and his wife Jessica, and Philip Wayne Neal and his wife Tia all of Heath Springs; six grandchildren, Anna, Ashlee, Sean, Lindsey, Brandon, and Chandler; six great grandchildren, Michael, Abbie Grace, Jake, Henry, Lucas, and Lily; and two sisters, Dessie Reeves and Selena Flynn and her husband Bob all of Heath Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Blaine Tarlton; and three brothers, Frank, Carson and Earl Faulkenberry.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 9, one hour prior to the service beginning at 5 o’clock p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home.
