Margaret Peggy White

Funeral services for Margaret Henrietta Peggy White, 65, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 6, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Doug Martin will officiate.

Mrs. White died Sunday, January 3, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of Sarah Edna West Bowers and the late John Benjamin J.B. Bowers. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was married to Billy R. White.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband of Kershaw are two daughters; Robin Christine Redick (Chris), Barbara Jean Tarrant , three sons; Bobby Gene Bass, Jr. (Andrea) all of Kershaw, Billy Joe Bass (Pam) of Mt. Pleasant, Christopher Dale White (Glenda) of Kershaw, ten grandchildren, eight brothers; Jesse Bowers of Westville, Jerry Bowers of Heath Springs, Donald Bowers, Pete Bowers, Larry Bowers, Roger Bowers, James Lee Bowers , George Bowers all of Kershaw, four sisters; Sarah Ellis, Mary Ann Cook, Vickie Catoe and Judy Sullivan all of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by a grandson; Joshua Shrader and a sister; Kathy Bowers.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, January 5, from 6:00 to 7 :30 P.M. at the funeral home.
