Margaret Hayes Roberts Self

Margaret Hayes Roberts Self, 75, died Saturday evening, December 13, 2008, in Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 15, 2008 in Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church cemetery. The Revs. Bobby Owens and Robert Jeske will officiate.

Born in Jefferson, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Jim and Lizzie Plyler Hayes. She was formerly employed with Caro-Knit Textiles in Jefferson and a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Self was preceded in death by her first husband; William Yancey Roberts and her second husband Robert Self.

Surviving are two daughters; Ragina Catoe and her husband Jimmy, Becky Faulkenberry and her husband Fred, 2 sons; Ronnie Lee Roberts and his wife Shannon, George Ray Roberts and his wife Martha all of Kershaw, six grandchildren, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Sunday December 14, 2008, from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home.
