Margaret Bowers Catoe

Funeral services for Margaret Bowers Catoe, 81, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 10, 2008, in Heath Springs Baptist Church, Heath Springs. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Gary Harris and Steve Neal will officiate.

Born in Kershaw , she was the daughter of the late Chalmers Calvin and Jerusha Nanalee Faile Bowers. Mrs. Bowers died Monday, September 8, 2008 in Kershaw County Medical Center. Mrs. Bowers was a member of Heath Springs Baptist Church where she was a member of the Homemaker's Sunday School Class. She enjoyed yard work, cooking and being around children. She was a homemaker and married to the late Ira Brown Catoe.

Surviving are a son; Donnie Catoe and his wife Ann of Pageland, a daughter-in-law; Dawn M. Catoe of Kershaw, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a brother; William N. Bowers and his wife Sara and a sister; Suzanne McMullen and her husband Vance of Jasper, GA. She was preceded in death by a son; Larry James Jimmy Catoe.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, September 9, 2008, from 6 to 8 P.M. At Baker funeral home and other times at the home, 3947 Old Georgetown Road.
