Funeral services for Manly Junior Faulkenberry, 80, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 11, 2008, in Buffalo Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. James Way will officiate.
 
Mr. Faulkenberry, loving husband of 59 years and caregiver to Susie Catoe Faulkenberry died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Kershaw County Medical Center, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Willie and Lois Roberts Faulkenberry. Mr. Faulkenberry was retired from Springs Industries, Kershaw Plant. He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church,where he served as past usher for many years and was a member of the Men's Sunday School Class. He was also a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of Kershaw Senior Citizens . Mr. Faulkenberry had a passion for caring for others in his church and community.
 
Surviving are his wife; Susie Catoe Faulkenberry, 1 son; Benny Faulkenberry and his wife Karen of Camden, 1 daughter; Phyllis Faulkenberry of Dallas Texas, a granddaughter; Chrissy Carraway and her husband Jeff and 2 great grandchildren; Alex and Rylee Carraway all of Madison, Alabama. Also surviving are 2 brothers; Fred and Perry Faulkenberry both of Kershaw, 2 sisters; Ruth Bradley and Annie Mae Jones both of Kershaw. He was preceded in death by 1 brother; James Faulkenberry and 2 sisters; Louise Phillips and Frances Bradley.
 
The family will receive friends, Thursday, July 10, 2008, from 5 to 7 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home.
