Funeral services for Mamie Pardue Floyd, 79, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 7, in First United Methodist Church. The Revs. Dr. Anita Bozardt and Steve Brooks will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
Mrs. Floyd died Friday, March 5, at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Earl Franklin, Sr. and Juanita Catoe Pardue. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities and gave unselfishly of her time and talents. She was married to Johnnie Blake Floyd.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are four daughters; Gail Bowers and her husband Edward of Kershaw, Diane Arrants and her husband Wendell of Camden, Robin Boan and her husband Percy of Kershaw and Dawn Brooks and her husband Steve of Acworth, Ga., ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four brothers; Earl F. Pardue, Jr. and his wife Bobbie Jean, Ernest Pardue and his wife Joan, Ralph Pardue and his wife Toni all of Heath Springs, and Davis Pardue and his wife Carolyn of Lancaster and a sister-in-l,aw Jean Pardue of Kershaw. She was predeceased by a brother; Jackie Pardue.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, March 6, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2205 Horton-Rollins Road, Kershaw.
