Funeral services for Lula Mae Snipes Vincent, 84, of Westville, will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 13, 2010 , in Bethany Baptist Church, Westville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Craigan Blankenship and Robert Rivers will officiate.
Mrs. Vincent died Saturday evening , July 10, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Lancaster Co., she was the daughter of the late Yancey Lee and Mary Ellen Railey Snipes. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She also was a member of the Ruth Truesdell Sunday School Class at the church. Mrs. Vincent was married to the late James J.B. Vincent.
Surviving are two daughters; Kathy Pate and her husband John, Sandra Hudson and her husband Mark all of Westville, five grandchildren; Jamie Pate, Wayne Pate, Jr., Maggie Shumpert, Andy Hudson and Sandie Phillips and twelve great-grandchildren and a brother; Crawford Snipes of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Ruby Hopkins, Elizabeth Sutton, Mildred Snipes and three brothers; Woody Snipes, Sr., E.J. Snipes and Coleman Snipes.
The family will receive friends, Monday, July 12, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw.

The family would like to thank the staff of the A. Sam Karesh Longterm Care for the love and care they showed Mrs. Vincent while she was a resident.
