Funeral services for Lucille Dease Campbell, 88, will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rev. Buddy Thomas will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 4357 Kershaw Camden Hwy., Heath Springs, S.C. 29058. Mrs. Campbell died Wednesday, June 27, at her home. Born in the Buffalo Community of Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Lula Horton Dease. Mrs. Campbell was formerly employed with Springs Industries and Leesona. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Before her health declined, she enjoyed being a part of the WMU. Mrs. Campbell also served as church hostess and a member of the flower committee. She loved her family and their visits were always a joy. Surviving are her husband of 67 years, Benjamin Campbell of the home; children, Jimmy Campbell (Kim) of Jefferson, Celia Roberts (Robert) of Kershaw, Donna Estes (Donnie) of Fort Mill, Paul Campbell (Christy) of Heath Springs, and Karen Williams (Calvin) of Appling, Ga.; grandchildren, Amy Graves, Patrick Campbell, Shane Estes, Reggie Campbell, Ashley Merritt (Jim), Michelle Cunningham, Joshua Campbell, Alex Campbell, Amanda Evans, and Jerry Campbell; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Floys Adams and Tuther Moore. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Hinson, Willie Roberts, Ellen Taylor and a brother, Coleman Dease.
