Mrs. Lucille Blackmon Beckham Ellis Lee, 98, entered her eternal home by faith in Jesus Christ on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Wellmore Memory Care of Tega Cay, South Carolina. Lucille was born in Heath Springs, South Carolina on August 25, 1923, to Earl Roy Beckham and Bertha "Allie" Blackmon Beckham. She was the widow of William Heath Ellis of Fort Mill, South Carolina. They were married for forty-six years and raised three children before William's death in 1995. She was also widowed by Greg Lee.

Lucille was a graduate of Winthrop College with a BA degree in Home Economics. She ran her own greenhouse business, taught home economics, and taught kindergarten. She was an active member of Unity Presbyterian Church of Fort Mill and participated in numerous community events and activities. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, and friend.

Lucille is survived by two children: Charles Ellis (Kathy) of Evans, Georgia and Gloria Ellis Honeycutt (Teeny) of Fort Mill, South Carolina. She is also survived by a son-in-law, Lancie Hyman (Jeannie), of Pamplico, South Carolina, and a brother, Roy Beckham, of Due West, South Carolina, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Also surviving are five grandchildren who treasure her memory: Jason Hyman of Atlanta, Georgia; Sarah Ellis White (Steve) of Augusta, Georgia; Mary Ellis Koziatek of Dacula, Georgia; Kathryn Ellis Spivey (Gordon) of North Augusta, South Carolina; and Caroline Francis Honeycutt of Fort Mill, South Carolina. She also leaves behind eleven great grandchildren: Rachel, Abby, and Ellis White; Lucy, Elle, Molly, Heath, and Ada Koziatek; Selah, Mitchell, and Maxwell Spivey.

In addition to two husbands, Lucille was predeceased by her parents; three sisters: Patricia Barker, Glynn Upholt, and Betty Richardson; one brother, Boyce Beckham; and her daughter, Harriett Hyman.

The family will receive friends, Monday, October 4, 2021, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 210 East Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067

Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Heath Springs, S.C.
