Louise Stroud Sullivan

A funeral service for Louise Stroud Sullivan, 91 of Kershaw, will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, May 15, in the sanctuary of Buffalo Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Ray Lowe, James Way, Steve Brumley and Tom Bingol will officiate.

Mrs. Sullivan, loving wife of the late Steve Preston Sullivan passed away Friday, May 13. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Henry Samuel and Lela Robinson Stroud. Mrs. Sullivan retired form Springs Industries and was a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

Surviving are 3 daughters; Doris Broughton and her husband Mike of Kershaw, Brenda Watts of Matthews, NC and Jennie Bingol and her husband Tom of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; a granddaughter, Heather Rand and her husband Robbie; 2 great grandchildren, Tyler and Braden Rand and a sister, Mary Magdaline Hunter and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 6 sisters, Annie Bell Garris, Nannie Waters, Barbara Faulkenberry, Grace Phillips, Cora Lee Eubanks and Mary Mosley and 5 brothers, Gilbert Stroud, Willie Stroud, Paul Stroud, Floyd Stroud and James Stroud.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, May 14, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.
