Lou Jane Langley

Funeral services for Lou Jane Baker Langley, 88, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2010, at Bethany-Westville Baptist Church with burial in Kershaw City Cemetery.

Mrs. Langley died Saturday, October 9, 2010 at her home. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Van Baker and Susan Boone Baker. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Langley retired from Springs Industries and loved to cook, sew and garden. She was a member of Bethany-Westville Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Robert Lee Langley, 2 children; her daughters; Marie Langley Catoe and her husband Sammy of Camden and Gwen L. Young and her husband Jimmy of Kershaw, 3 grandchildren; Angie Helms and her husband David, Robbie Hunter and his wife Lee, and Tiffany Williams and her husband Chad, 5 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren, and her special sister-in-law, Elaine Langley Watts of Kershaw. Mrs. Langley was the last remaining family member of 11 children.

A viewing will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Sunday, October 10, 2010.
