A funeral service for Lou Ella Criminger, 92, of Kershaw, will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, September 3, in the sanctuary of Refuge Baptist Church. The Rev. Evan Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 o’clock p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Cathy.
Born in Hartsville, she was a daughter of the late Edgar M. Lloyd and Rosa Parnell Lloyd Mims and step-father, Wheeler Mims.

Mrs. Criminger was a talented seamstress, a former clerk at the Employment Security Commission and an assistant at the Council on Aging office. She was also a faithful member of Refuge Baptist Church.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Bonnie Tolson of Timmonsville, Jacqueline Young of Kershaw, Cathy (Ray) Hearon of Kershaw; a son, Craig (Debbie) Criminger of Killeen, TX; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Criminger, 2 sons, Richard Kelly and James Whitt Kelly; a grandson, Keith Young; great grandson, Trey Evatt; 2 sons-in-law, Lawrence Tolson and James D. Young, Jr.; 4 brothers, Kenneth Lloyd, Tommy Lloyd, Charles Mims, Ronnie Mims and a sister, Carolyn Hulsey.
