Lori T. Faulkenberry

Lori Truesdale Faulkenbery, age 59, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Tuesday evening, August 15, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Camden, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Bobby Ward Truesdale and Mae Vincent Truesdale. She retired from Lancaster County School District as a parent coordinator with Kershaw Elementary School. She was also a faithful member of Pineview Baptist Church. Lori loved flowers. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling, especially going to the beach.

She is survived by her sweetheart for 44 years and her husband of 39 years, Donald Lee “Donny” Faulkenberry; 2 children, Jennifer F. Reeves and her husband, Carlton and Daniel Lee Faulkenberry and his wife, Peyton; 3 grandchildren, Braxton Reeves, Blaine Reeves and Brayden Reeves and her siblings, Gail Fralix, Eddie Truesdale, Charlie (Mary Alice) Truesdale, David Truesdale and Larry (Susan) Truesdale.

Friends may pay their respects, Friday, August 18, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.

The family is at home.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday morning, August 19, 2023, in the sanctuary of Pineview Baptist Church. The Revs. Hank Fanning and Mitch Gulledge will officiate. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She loved her Kershaw Elementary School family. The faculty and staff are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers at the service.

The family will greet friends immediately following the burial in the church Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Pineview Baptist Church, 224 Young's Bend Road, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 in her memory.
