Funeral services for Lola Mae Mosley Joyner, 97 of Jefferson will be held at one o’clock p.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 in the sanctuary of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Jefferson. Rev. Terry Corder will conduct the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Joyner, loving wife of the late Charlie Wilson Joyner passed away, Tuesday, April 23, at Springdale Healthcare Center, Camden. Born in Bethune. She was a daughter of the late John Mosley and Martha Vincent Mosley. She was a former employee of McBee Manufacturing Co. Mrs. Joyner was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking for her family.

Surviving are six children, Betty (John) Sullivan of Bethune, Juanita (W.T.) Lowery of Pittsboro, NC, Margie (Bruce) Phillips of Kershaw, Barbara Newman of Camden, Joel Joyner of Gastonia, NC and Gary (Rhonda) Joyner of Kershaw; Fifteen grandchildren; Twenty-six great grandchildren and Nineteen great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Harm Lee Joyner and William Hoyt Joyner; three brothers, Jack Mosley, Albert Mosley and Edward Mosley; 3 sisters, Henrietta Watts, Dorothy Outen and Lois Gurganious; a granddaughter, Erica Broughton; a son-in-law, Roy Newman and a daughter-in-law, Joni Joyner.

The family will receive friends immediately following the committal service in the church Family Life Center and other times at Mrs. Joyner’s home.

Memorial contribution in her memory may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 2140 McBee Highway, Jefferson, SC 29718.
