Lois Catoe Sullivan

Funeral services for Lois Catoe Sullivan, 86, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 27, 2011, in Buffalo Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Sullivan, widow of Clayton Thomas Sullivan, Sr., died Wednesday, August 24, at Bethea Baptist Retirement Community and Healthcare, Darlington. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Burrell Stanley and Lillie Shaw Catoe. She was retired from Springs Industries and a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church. She also enjoyed cooking and baking cakes. Surviving are 2 sons; Rev. Clayton Thomas (Myrtle) Sullivan, Jr. of Kershaw and Rev. Robert Stanley (Donna) Sullivan of Timmonsville, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Lois Edwardean Reaman, 5 sisters; Alice C. Catoe, Sarah Gertrude (Polly) West, Viola Catoe Gardner, Nannie Van Catoe Bradley and Verla Mae Catoe, 2 brothers; Ernest Edison Catoe and Willie Burrell Catoe. The family will receive friends, Saturday, August 27, from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
