Lester Clyburn L.C." Reeves

Graveside services for Lester Clyburn L.C. Reeves, 84, will be held at 2:00 P.M Wednesday, October 1, 2008, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Jamie Rogers will officiate.

Mr. Reeves died Sunday, September 28, 2008, in Kershaw County Medical Center, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Lester and Maude Whitley Reeves. Mr. Reeves was retired from General Tire Co. He was a well respected photographer taking many wedding pictures and photographs of all capacities throughout the years. He also enjoyed taking photographs for the Kershaw News-Era. Mr. Reeves was a US Navy Veteran.

Surviving are his son; Lindy Reeves of Columbia, one brother; David Reeves of Charlotte, N.C., and special caregivers; Curtis and Nancy Lowery. He was predeceased by his wife; Susie Roberts Reeves in 2001 and a sister; Reba R. Johnson, two brothers; Howard L. Reeves and William F. Reeves.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 1, 2008, from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. prior to the service at Baker Funeral Home.
