Graveside services for Leslie Denkins, 64, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010, in Flint Memorial Park, Mount Morris, MI.

Mr. Denkins died Saturday, September 18, 2010, in Dorn VA Medical Center, Columbia. Born in Flint, MI. he was the son of the late Beatrice Denkins Randall and Avis Denkins.

Surviving are 2 children; his daughter; Angela Marie Emery and her husband Jeffrey Lee and his son; Leslie Howard Denkins. 5 grandchildren; Darin Michael Emery, Camron Lee Emery Jordan Arianna Emery, Benjamin Lee Newton and Wesley Alan Newton, 4 sisters; Vania Plamondon, Genesa, MI., Barbara Bradford of Kershaw, Freda Woolwine of Vassar, MI., Lavada Cutcher of Kershaw, a sister-in-law; Nadine Denkins of Kershaw, a brother; Richard Denkins and his wife Juanita of Pageland. He was preceded in death by a brother; Gene Denkins.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

A viewing will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Monday, September 20, 2010.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Kershaw.
