Leonard Leo Hunter

Graveside services for Leonard Leo Hunter, 83, will be held Sunday, January 31, at
3:00 p.m. at Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Atkerson will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday from 1:30 2:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Mr. Hunter died Wednesday, January 27, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, he was the son of the late Samuel and Grace Baker Hunter. He was retired from the DuPont Company. Mr. Hunter enjoyed coordinating the transportation needs for Heritage Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Camden for a number of years. Mr. Hunter was a founding member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Camden and a US Army veteran. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Kathleen Faulkenberry Hunter; two sisters, Edith Fladmark of Melbourne, FL and Connie Adair of Camden; special in-laws, Mary F. Stroud, Betty J. Robertson, Pauline F. Williams, and Grady Williams.
