Leila Lashai Clark

A funeral service for Leila Lashai Clark, 5 months old, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, in Kershaw Church of God. Rev. Doug Martin will officiate. Leila died Wednesday, December 14. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of LeBrian L. Clark and Chelsey Lee Catledge. Surviving in addition to her parents are, brother; Leeland Catledge Clark, sister; Hailey Alexis Love, maternal grandparents; Donnie and Dorothea Catledge, Kershaw, paternal grandmother; Carolyn Clark , Lancaster, maternal great grandparents; Donnie and Diane Catledge, Myrtle Beach , maternal great grandmother; Sybil Catledge, Cassatt and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by maternal great grandparents; Robert and Beverly Goode, paternal great grandmother; Joanne Clark, great aunt; Freda Baldwin; great uncle; Willie Goode. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service at the church. The family has chosen to donate Leila’s heart valves to help other children. They also encourage others to become organ donors. Leila’s family wishes to say a special thank you to Sheriff Deputy Hundley with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s office who was on patrol in the neighborhood and administered CPR.
