Larry Hugh Faile

Funeral service for Larry Hugh Faile, 75, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 8, 2009, in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Faile died Sunday, April 5, 2009, in White Oak Manor, Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Boyd and Sarah Bowers Faile. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Faile was also a resident at Whitten Village in Clinton for a number of years. Mr. Faile enjoyed working on the farm and picking cotton with his father. He loved playing bingo, fishing and riding his bicycle. He also enjoyed spending time with his brother- in- law swinging and picking up pine cones.

Surviving are his sister; Peggy F. Stroud of Heath Springs, six nieces; Wendy Deese, Lisa Reeves, Jerrilyn Manning, Timbra Davis, Crystal Byrd and Robyn Jones, fifteen great nieces and nephews and seven great great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister; Elizabeth Libby Broughton and a nephew; Brad Broughton.

The family will receive friends; Wednesday, April 8, 2009, from 1-2 P.M. prior to the service in the choir room at the church.
