The cherished life of Keplyn West Cerasaro will be celebrated in the Sanctuary of Buffalo Baptist Church, 6390 Lockhart Road, Kershaw, SC on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. The family will receive guests at 1 p.m. A celebration of her life will continue in the church sanctuary at 2 p.m. Keppie’s life was filled with love and accomplishment. She graduated from North Central High School in 1982. She continued her education at Clemson University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She completed her education with a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. She worked in the mental health field for the State of South Carolina, as the Director of the Karesh Nursing Facility at Kershaw Health, and as a nurse at Georgetown County Hospital in Georgetown , SC. Keppie gave her life in service to her family, friends, and most especially to her husband, Dr. Thomas Cerasaro, her daughter, Kimberlyn Cerasaro, and her 3 step children; Chris,Stephen and Jackie Cerasaro. Her closest friend was Bobby McMahan at the close of her life. She contributed her time and talent to many charities, causes, and to her daughter’s dance training. She is survived by her parents, Calvin and Pat West of Kershaw, SC , her daughter Kimberlyn Cerasaro of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, two brothers, Matthew and Michael West, and a nephew and niece, John Matthew West and Katherine Elizabeth West. Burial will be in the family plot in the Buffalo Baptist Church cemetery following services. Memorials may be made to Buffalo Baptist Church-Cemetery Fund, 6390 Lockhart Road, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.
