Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Love, 52, of Kershaw will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Pleasant Plain Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Todd Montgomery will officiate. Mr. Love died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster, Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of the late Willie Heyward and Millie Robertson Love. Mr. Love, before becoming disabled was a registered nurse. He was a former case manager for Humana Company, a critical care nurse at Springs Memorial Hospital and quality assessment manager for Lancaster Recovery Center. He had also been a flight nurse for Providence Hospital, Columbia and was a member of Second Baptist Church, Lancaster. Surviving are his son; William Kenneth “Liam” Love of Lancaster, his former wife; Rebecca B. Love of Lancaster, a sister; Dorothy Gregory (Tom), 2 brothers; Charles Love (Anada), Thomas R. “Tommy” Love (Judy) all of Kershaw, sister –in-law; Sheila Love and her special friend, Donald Price of Kershaw, 2 nieces; Lacy Driver, Cherie Love both of Lancaster, 2 nephews; John Gregory of Kershaw and Dr. Travis Love of Charleston, West Va., 3 great nephews; Dalton Driver, Tyler and Austin Mullis all of Lancaster and special caregiver; Sharon Brasington. He was preceded in death by his brother; Roger Love. The family will receive friends, Friday, June 21, 2013, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, 5082 Gold Mine Highway, Kershaw. The casket will be placed in the church at 1:00 p.m. for viewing prior to the service on Saturday.
