A service to celebrate the life of Kenneth John “Ken” Kozelski, 66, of Camden, SC, will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Wednesday, December 21, at Baker Conference Center, 105 N. Minor St., Kershaw, SC. Rev. Keith Coates will officiate.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the Conference Center and other times at the home.
Mr. Kozelski passed away, Monday, December 19, in KershawHealth, Camden, SC. Born in Passaic, NJ, he was a son of the late John Joseph and Stephanie Craska Kozelski. Ken received his BA in chemical engineering from Notre Dame and had served for 38 years as an environmental engineer with the Dupont Co. Ken had also served as past president of the International Cooling Tower Institute from 1996-1997. He played baseball for Notre Dame during college and was an avid Notre Dame Football fan. Ken loved playing golf, traveling; especially cruises, cooking, listening to music and entertaining.
Surviving are his wife of 16 years, Ginger Sowell Kozelski; 2 sons, Jeffrey Kozelski and his wife Courtney, John Kozelski and his wife Julie; a daughter, Kristin Kozelski; a sister, Linda Kozelski; 2 step-sons, Grady Catoe and his wife Jenny, Dustin Catoe and his wife Stacie and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Kozelski and a daughter, Elizabeth Kozelski.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the charity of one’s choice.
