Kathy Reeves

Mary Katheryn “Kathy” Reeves, age, 70, of Heath Springs, S.C., passed away, Wednesday evening, May 1, 2024, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Kershaw County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late James T. Williams and Etta Mae Sullivan Williams. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed talking care of children. She also loved to cook and shop. She cherished the time she spent with her family and her grandchildren.

She is survived by 3 sons; Curtis W. Williams, Timothy “Bo” Reeves and his wife, Ellen and Joey Cavanaugh and his wife, Tiffany; 7 grandchildren, Marissa, Brayden, Brent, Caitlyn, Tyler, Zachary, and Avah; 3 great grandchildren, Hannah, Bronson, and Ashton; 2 brothers, Gerald Williams and Kenny Williams and his wife, Teresa and her sister, Joette Hewett and her husband, James. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Reid "Shug" Shugart and her brother, Billy Williams.

The family will hold a memorial service to remember and celebrate her life Thursday evening, May 9, 2024, from the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church, Kershaw, S.C. at 6:00 p.m. Mr. James L. Hewett, IV will officiate the service.

The family will greet friends following the service at the church.
