Kathleen Marie Walz

Kathleen Marie Walz, 55, of Westville, S.C., passed away, Friday, August 26, 2022, at her home. Born in Seattle, Washington, she was a daughter of Kathleen Diane Peterson Gay and Don Gay. She was a loan processor for 30 years. She enjoyed swimming, reading and collected owls. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather; her brother, David Charles Walz and his wife, Rosa; her stepsister, Jeanne O’Tyson; her stepbrother, Jeff Gay and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her church family. He was preceded by his stepbrother, Donnie Gay.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 4, 2022, in the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church. Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center.
