Kathleen A. Doetsch

Kathleen Ann Loomis Doetsch, age 75 of Liberty Hill, S.C., passed away, Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at her home. Born in Silverton, CO, she was the daughter of the late Darwin Loomis and Ruth Smith Loomis. She loved to watch all the animals in nature. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed making pretty pictures.

She is survived by 3 children, Marietta (James) Chaffin, Bill Doetsch and Ruth (Thomas) Clautu; 6 grandchildren, Sapphire Clautu, Jasmine (Jason) Thomas, Cassandra Clautu, Cody (Deanna) Chaffin, Devan (Amber) Chaffin and Nathan Steele; 8 great grandchildren, Charles Clautu, Allysanne Clautu, Jaxson Clautu, Logan Chaffin, Angel Chaffin, Shiloh Wolfe, Justin Ray Chaffin and Nicholas Thomas and her brother, Richard Loomis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Doetsch; her son, Charles William Doetsch, Jr.; her grandson, Justin Tyler Chaffin and her great grandson, Tyler Clautu.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, S.C.
