Justin Tyler Chaffin, 22, of Liberty Hill, S.C., went home to be with his heavenly father, Monday morning, February 7, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Columbia, S.C., he was a beloved son of James Earl Chaffin, III and Marietta Lynn Doetsch Chaffin.
Justin was employed with Punky’s on Main, Lancaster, S.C. He loved gaming, fishing and hunting. He brought a smile to everyone’s face he encountered. He also enjoyed being a jokester. Justin was a member of the Heathen Club (a survival club) where he held the nickname” Swamp Rat”. He was passionate about Star Wars and firmly believed you did not have to be blood related to be family. He also enjoyed spoiling his grandmother.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Cody (Deanna) Chaffin, Devan Chaffin, Collin (Malia) Harrison, Nathan Steele and Tristian Steele; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Kathleen Doetsch; his maternal great grandmother, Verda Doetsch; uncle, Bill Doetsch; aunt, Ruth (Thomas) Clautu; cousins, Sapphire Clautu, Jasmine (Jason) Thomas and Cassandra Clautu and best friends, Adrian and Sean.
A celebration of life service will be held at Zamar Church, Lancaster, S.C. at a later date.
