A funeral service to celebrate the short life of Justin Heath Brewer, 17, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 16, 2010, in First Baptist Church, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the Kershaw Cemetery. Rev. Bryant D. Fersner will conduct the service.
Justin died Monday, December 13, in an automobile accident. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Heath Jackson and Angie Joy Williams Brewer. He loved hanging out with his friends, especially Ryan Phillips. Justin was a Junior at Andrew Jackson High School, where he played Junior Varsity and Varsity Football and Baseball. He also played Basketball on the First Baptist Church Team. Justin enjoyed his time on Lake Wateree, fishing, riding his jet ski, skiing and tubing. Justin was an avid X-Box fan and player.
Surviving in addition to his parents of the home are, his brother; Parker Brewer and his sister; Raegen Brewer both of the home, maternal grandparents; Joe and Martha H. Williams and Abby and Dealice Brewer all of Kershaw, aunts and uncles; Dean and Wanda Garder of Kershaw, Dennis and Mandy Poston of Lexington, Shane and Stephanie Brewer of Kershaw, cousins; Drew Gardner, Jacob Poston, Devin Gardner, Seth Poston, Brooke Brewer and Abigail Abby Brewer. He was preceded in death by an uncle; Joey W. Williams.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, December 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home, 704 Kershaw-Country Club Road.
