Graveside services for Juanita Hendrix will be held Friday, September 2, at 11:00 a.m. at Kershaw City Cemetery. Revs. Bryant D. Fersner and Don Knight will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 67, Kershaw, S.C. 29067. Ms. Hendrix died Wednesday, August 31, in Springdale Health Care Center Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Mary Rowell Hendrix. Ms. Hendrix had retired from Springs Industries and was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. Surviving are a brother, Perry Hendrix (Iva Lee) of Kershaw; nephews, Joe Hendrix, Larry Catoe, Lloyd Hilton, Baron Hendrix, Wendell Hendrix, Dennis Hendrix, Jerome Ellis, Jimmy Ellis, Mike Hendrix, and Billy Stogner; nieces, Nancy C. Faulkenberry, Pamela H. Welch, Wanda Stogner, Norma Jean Mobley, Martha H. Baker, and Janet H. Coggins. She was predeceased by brothers, Walter Hendrix, Rev. Leonard Hendrix, J.E. Hendrix, and infant brother, Edward Hendrix; sisters, Suelee Hilton, Lyda B. Stogner, Ethel Catoe, and Glenda Ellis. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Springdale Health Care for their loving care the past 4 years.
